Steve announced the new nano and touch yesterday at an event. Meanwhile Tunewear has been hard at work and has inventory and started shipping the ICEWEAR and TUNESHELL for the new iPod nano and iPod touch in Japan today.

The ICEWEAR, as seen above is a silicon case made of high density medical grade silicone, and the TUNESHELL is made from scratch proof plastic. They are in stock in Japan but should also be available int he US from our Los Angeles office and Hong Kong office.

The new iPod has features like shake, genius and more along with iTunes delivering HD download.

Just rented this cool office in Hong Kong. Previously used by LG electronics, we go the bar, the furniture and things for free. What a deal, good job guys. Everyone seems to be happy here with controllable air conditioning, view of the ocean and islands and more. I mention controllable air conditioning because most office buildings close to the ocean forces very low temperature even during winter to fight off the humidity and sea salt water corrosion by keeping the buildings freezing cold. One of the reasons I worked out of my house in Hong Kong.

New office search in Japan is taking me to many interesting properties. This one was a wedding hall, 3 story high and with a kitchen.

We did a tradeshow at Makuhari Messe, showcasing the latest video editing technology. The show is smaller this year. Panasonic and Sony fight wars here to standardize their methods and technologies, like they do in IBC Holland and NAB in Vegas. I have been doing this for almost 20 years, but am amazed at the complete change of technology - capture method : film - tape - silicon etc..

The speed of change has been exponentially faster now due to the digitalization of all process and media. TV Station, Studios and Independent producers all want to cut costs, at the same time directors want more methods of expression.

Rented a new office in Tokyo Midtown, moved in the marketing guys, just 2 floors down from my house, so I can go there and raise hell if need be or be as sweet as an angel. Companies need leadership and I work hard to fulfill that role.
